Refunds

Every course purchase can be refunded in full within 30 days of purchase, provided the final exam has not been attempted. That is the whole rule, and the four answers it contains are these: yes, a purchase can be refunded; the window is 30 days; opening the course and studying does not change that — attempting the final exam does; and a refund goes back to the payment method you paid with.

The exam condition exists because the exam is the product’s value: once you have sat it, the course has done its job, and a certificate may already exist against your name. Attempting the exam — passing or not — ends refund eligibility. Everything up to that point, including reading and watching the whole course, does not.

To request one, use the contact page with your order reference. No reason is required inside the window.

02

Course access period

A course stays open to you for one year from the date of purchase. Within that year you can study, sit the exam, re-sit it if you need to, and print your certificate — in any order, at your own pace.

Earning the certificate does not close the course: access runs to the end of the year either way, so you can go back to the material after you have passed. When the year ends, the course closes. Your completion record and certificate remain available under certificates & records — access ending never takes away credit you have already earned.

A course left unfinished past its year needs a new purchase.

03

Certificates & record retention

Getting your certificate

Pass the exam and the certificate is issued to you. It is available from My courses in your account, so you can download it again without asking anyone.

The certificate carries the name and license number you give us. That is why checkout asks for them: a license number is required for the six RN video courses and optional for Pain, Stress and Children. A certificate with the wrong number on it is not much use at an audit. Check both before you complete the purchase.

Where a course carries a continuing-education approval, the approval statement is printed on that course’s own page and applies only to that course. It is not a site-wide statement and you will not find one in our footer.

How long the record is kept

Separately from your download, there is the question of how long we keep the completion record on our side: what we could confirm if you asked us in four years, and how you would get a replacement certificate after that.

Completion records are retained for at least four years from course completion — the approving board’s requirement for provider records. Within that window we can confirm your completion to you and reissue your certificate; while your account remains open you can download it yourself at any time, which costs nothing and outlives any window.

Keep your own copy anyway

Download the certificate when you earn it and keep it with your own renewal records. Boards audit the licensee, not the provider, and the document that gets asked for is the one in your file.

Before you ask

What the certificate actually says

Every completed CE course issues a certificate laid out like this — shown here so you can check it against your board’s requirements before you spend anything.

Best Practices for Surviving Stress and Hypnosis for Children issue a certificate of completion, not a contact-hour certificate.

Exam attempts & re-tests

This is the section people actually need: attempts are the same on every course.

How every exam works

Every exam in the catalog is a randomized-question exam taken online at the end of the course. Depending on the course it is 5 to 100 questions, and the pass mark is the same everywhere: 80% or better.

Attempts are unlimited within your access period. If you do not reach 80%, go back to the material and sit the exam again — a fresh set of randomized questions, no fee, no unlock request, no separate product to buy. This is a site-wide term.

Two courses, showing two exam formats
Course Lane Questions Pass mark
Airway Assessment RN & LPN 10 80%
Hypnosis for Children Hypnotherapy 5 80%

Two courses, shown so you can see the format difference is real. Hypnosis for Children is professional development and is not offered for continuing-education credit.

What happened to paid re-tests

They are gone. The old site sold exam re-takes as a separate purchase; with unlimited attempts included in every course, there is nothing left to sell. If you bought a re-test on the old site, it did what it said at the time — nothing you have already earned changes.

05

Privacy

What the site asks you for, and why

You can browse the entire catalog, compare hours and read every course page without an account. Personal information is asked for at two points only:

  • At checkout — your name, email and billing address, and your license type and license number (required for the six RN video courses, optional for Pain, Stress and Children), because the certificate is issued against them.
  • By email — whatever you choose to put in a message to us, plus an order or course reference if you want your question answered from the record.

The policy

What we keep and why. Your account (name, email), the license details you enter at checkout (type, state, number) because the certificate is issued against them, your orders, your exam results and completion records, and anything you email us.

Who else touches it. The companies that run the infrastructure: our hosting provider, our payment processor (who handles your card — we never see the number), our email service, and Google Analytics, which sets cookies and shows us traffic in aggregate. That is the whole list. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, ever, and your license number lives only in the course platform — it is never copied into any marketing system.

How long. Completion records follow the retention commitment under certificates & records. Account data is kept while your account exists. Support emails are kept as long as the conversation needs.

Your side of it. Ask through the contact page and we will send you a copy of what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — except records the approving board requires us to keep, which we will tell you about rather than silently retain. No account is required to browse; no cookies beyond analytics and the session; nothing here is directed at children.

06

Accessibility

What was built in — and measured

These are not aspirations. Each one was computed or tested, which is why they can be printed here.

  • Contrast was calculated before it was used. No text pairing on the site falls below 4.5:1. The lowest pairing anywhere is 5.29:1; body text on the page background is 15.67:1.
  • Color is never the only signal. Every lane and status marker carries a text label as well as a color, and status markers differ in shape too, so nothing is lost if the colors are indistinguishable to you.
  • Focus is visible. Keyboard focus draws a 3px outline that holds at least 6.5:1 against every surface on the site. The menus open on focus, not on hover alone, so the whole navigation is reachable from a keyboard.
  • Nothing scrolls sideways. Checked at 375px, 768px, 1000px and 1280px. Wide tables scroll inside their own frame instead of dragging the page with them.
  • Motion is short, and optional. Transitions are 120 milliseconds and are switched off entirely if your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Pages print. Navigation, filters and buttons drop out, accordions open and cards avoid page breaks — because course lists and receipts get printed.

What is deliberately not claimed

You will notice there is no conformance badge on this page. Building against the measures above is not the same as having been audited against a published standard, and we are not going to blur the two.

We have not published a formal accessibility statement. If any part of this site blocks you, email support@mycecredit.com. A barrier report is treated as a defect.

07

Terms

The terms

The parties. You, and Healthy Visions / MyCEcredit, 351 Market St., Clinton, TN 37716. Buying a course forms an agreement on this page’s terms plus the refund, access and exam policies above.

What a purchase is. One course, for one named learner, for one year (access policy), with unlimited exam attempts and a certificate on passing. Accounts and exams are personal: no sharing logins, no sitting an exam for someone else, and the certificate is only as accurate as the license details you enter.

The materials. Course content is ours or licensed to us. Study it, print it for your own use — do not republish, resell or redistribute it.

Acceptance of hours. Continuing-education approval is stated on each course page and applies only to the course it appears on. Whether a given board accepts a given course for a given requirement is that board’s call — where we hold written confirmation we say so, and where we do not, we say that instead. We do not guarantee acceptance we cannot show you in writing.

The boring but honest part. Courses are education, not professional, legal or medical advice. Prices and catalog contents can change; a change never affects a course you have already bought. Our liability to you is limited to what you paid for the course in question. Tennessee law governs. If any term is found unenforceable, the rest stand.

08

Grievance

A grievance is different from a support request. It is what you raise when you believe a course was inaccurate, an exam result was wrong, a certificate was withheld, or a statement we published about a course was not true.

Those complaints deserve a named route, a person who reviews them and an answer in writing — not a general inquiry form and a hope.

The route

Step 1 — put it in writing. Use the contact page, say it is a grievance, and include the course, the dates, and what you believe went wrong. It goes to the person responsible for the catalog, not a queue.

Step 2 — a written answer. You get our findings and what we are doing about it — fixed, corrected, refunded, or why we believe the record stands — in writing. Grievances and their outcomes are kept on file.

Step 3 — escalation. If the complaint concerns continuing-education credit and our answer does not resolve it, you may raise it with the approving board: the California Board of Registered Nursing (rn.ca.gov), citing provider CEP 17185. We will tell you that, not bury it.

Nothing here answered your question

Then ask it before you buy rather than after.
