What this lane is, plainly
Stress and Children: professional development, not license compliance
Best Practices for Surviving Stress and Hypnosis for Children are sold as professional development. They are not offered for continuing-education credit and will not satisfy a license renewal. Hypnosis for Pain Management Certification (4th Edition) is 20 contact hours for nurses, and its own page states the approval. We would rather say that at the top of the page than let you find it out at the bottom of a receipt.
That is not a gap in the catalog — it is the shape of the field. We know of no state that requires continuing education of hypnotherapists. There is no renewal clock to beat here, which means the only sensible reason to buy one of these is that you want to be better at the work on Monday than you were on Friday.
So we have priced and described this lane for practitioners, not for compliance officers. Every course below states its hours, its exam and what is actually in it. If you hold a nursing license as well, the pain program is 20 contact hours for nurses, and the other nursing courses are in the RN & LPN lane.

Before you buy
Three questions worth asking first
Is this hypnosis continuing education?
Not for Best Practices for Surviving Stress or Hypnosis for Children. Those are professional-development programs, not offered for continuing-education credit. There is no license renewal for them to satisfy: we know of no state that requires continuing education of hypnotherapists. Hypnosis for Pain Management Certification (4th Edition) is 20 contact hours for nurses.
If you also hold a nursing license and it is nursing hours you need, the pain program carries them and the other courses are in the RN & LPN lane, where the approval that applies is stated on each individual course page.
How do the courses work, and how fast can I finish one?
Everything is online and self-paced, and you keep your own clock — a one-hour course is a lunch break, the twenty-hour program is not. Each course ends in a randomized exam needing 80% or better.
Question counts differ by course, and each course page says which: Hypnosis for Children is 5 questions and Best Practices for Surviving Stress is 100. Attempts do not differ — you may retake any exam as often as you need within your access period.
What do I get when I finish?
A certificate of completion naming the program and its hours, downloadable from your account whenever you need it again.
For Stress and Children it carries no continuing-education credit and no approval number. It is a record that you did the work.
